Canteen

St Clare’s provides an efficient and effective school canteen that meets the needs of the school community. It is a self-service facility that caters for about 600 students and 70 staff.

The canteen offers a wide variety of fresh food made daily. Also on offer is a variety of quick and easy food that meets the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy guidelines of a 3.5 Healthy Star Rating.

Dietary requirements are available for gluten-free, vegetarian and others on request for staff and students.

Prices are kept to an affordable amount for all students. The canteen offers some daily specials to cater for all student budgets, with prices starting from $1.

The canteen operates Monday to Friday with breakfast available from 8.30am. The canteen is also open at recess and lunch.

Payment options include cash or EFTPOS.

The canteen follows the processes as outlined in the Food Safety Standards and achieves the 5 Star rating in the annual council inspections.

Canteen staff offer a friendly, caring, happy and efficient environment for all students to purchase food and are always welcome for a chat.
